HomeMindAI is an intelligent home safety platform that continuously monitors video feeds to detect fire, smoke, unknown visitors, and elderly inactivity. It generates real-time voice alerts, logs structured safety events, and displays them in a modern dashboard with timestamps and severity levels.
Technical Core
Backend built using FastAPI with OpenAI Vision integration for event detection. Real-time event streaming via WebSockets. Frontend built with React + Tailwind. Deployed on Google Cloud Run with cloud storage integration for media uploads.
